Two long-time Whitby 42 and Brewer sail boat builders / suppliers / Association supporters have volunteered to answer your questions about boat construction and propulsion. Doug Stephenson and Lew Streeter.
Doug was involved with Whitby Boat Works in all aspects of the boat's construction. In his company records are many of the original orders, change orders, options and construction details of individual vessels. After Whitby Boat Works, Doug began brokering Whitby and Brewers. Over the years, he has worked hard to be the Whitby owner's and buyer's broker of choice by always being available to answer any questions regarding the boat. He has supported the Association by attending the Rendezvous and sharing his knowledge. He has agreed to field questions from the Association members.
Lew Streeter is an accomplished diesel mechanic. He currently lives aboard Free 'n Clear, a Whitby 42, in Marathon, Florida.
