Fuel tank level sensors was created by Robert Horn
'75 Whitby 42. Both saddle tanks have level sensors. If I ohm them, I get very brief reading when I first touch the meter leads to the 'S' terminal but it immediately goes away. There are no markings of any kind on the sensor assembly. There is a fuel gauge on the helm, no switch for selecting the tanks, it appears to be broken and also has no markings other than '+' and 'S', no manufacturer. I assume the gauge and sensors are original.

Any thoughts on the type of sensors and manufacturer?

Thanks,

Bob

Thanks, I checked the web site. These are all resistive units and would work for the two belly tanks which measure from 30 to about 260 ohms. Funny thing is, one reads 50 ohms full and the other tank reads 250 ohms full.
The problem is that the two saddle tank units don't register with an ohmmeter. Will have to investigate that further.
