How about a flashing button on the main page, linked to a page with the details, but I'll leave the aesthetics up to you.

Should we have an article, or a discussion topic with the "myth - busted myth" comprised of locked posts that appear at the top. If we do posts, we can open the dialog up to the whole group and then summarize at the top. In fact, after we get the responses an article that summarizes the thread - Myth vs Reality will be a short job. and we'll leave the thread in the forum.
