Whitby 42 Brewer Sail Boats

Mark it on your calendar when you are planning on your summer cruising, October 4th - 6th will be the Annual Rendezvous.
(The Annapolis Boat Show will be starting on the 7th.)

And - use this area for posting any comments about the up-coming event!

With October getting closer, the summer vacations being wrapped up, planning started for the trip south, remember to put on your agenda the 2010 Whitby/Brewer Rendezvous. The dates to mark on your calendar are October 4 - 6 (with the Annapolis Sailboat Show the 7 - 11th).

Updates will be coming with more details, but if you would like to contribute either your time or expertise either as a speaker or helper, now is the time to start thinking about it.

The Rendezvous will be held again this year at the West River Sailing Club and is accessible either by boat or by car.

This is a well-attended event filled with owner's input as well as outside speakers.

I will be happy to help with the 2010 rendezvous. We are new Whitby owners, purchased hull 177 in January, spent May thru Early july outfitting the boat and are now enroute north to the Chesapeake for some cruising and of course the Rendezvous. Both Patti and I will be happy to help.

Now for the next question. Any suggestions for places to see and to skip in the Chesapeake.

Also we need a recommendation on a place to park the boat for 2 weeks the middle of September when we fly home for a short visit.


Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Note: because of change in the WRSC liquor license, all alcoholic beverages must be purchased from the WRSC; no “outside” alcoholic beverages may be consumed on the WRSC site.

Costs: Members: $35/person (if registered on WBS)
NonMembers: $60/person (if not registered on WBS)
Mooring Fee (flat fee): $10/boat @ pier(flat fee); $5/boat on mooring ball (flat fee)

Please make reservations via e-mail, and mail the following reservation form with a check, in advance. All checks must be received not later than 20 Sep…….if later than 20 Sep, please include a $10 late fee (Mary and I desire this deadline so we can purchase an adequate supply of food, and order a sufficient quantity of drink) Thanks.
