Just lost a great deal on brewer 42 for $64k Looking for another deal. I have the cash but time is fleeting so to speak.

Actually either one. There are things that I like in the brewers and the whitbys. The older whitbys that I have seen (1977 and older) seem to have a lot of deck issues.

A call to Douglass can put you on to one of the best maintained W42's I looked at before purchasing Ranger, I was ready to close on the boat in Long Island, but found some difficulty financing the 1981. The boat was most impressive. Every thing on the boat spoke highly of a good previous owner who loved the boat. The boat would come with a strong recommended buy on my part, there was hardly anything I could find fault with. I inspected nearly 16 boats before buying mine. The couple who owned her were wonderful people, It was disappointing not to be able to own that boat! But Ranger suited all my objectives.
