On a sailboat you are dealing with Several different problems:
Direct Current Grounding
Alternating Current Grounding
Galvanic Corrosion
Electrolytic Corrosion
Cathodic protection, anodes
Radio Frequency Grounding and Noise Reduction
Lightning mitigation
Each of these problems has different solutions.
