Whitby 42 Brewer Sail Boats

I am researching flexible shaft couplings suitable to connect a Lehman 4 cyl 2712E/4D254 - Borg Warner 71CR transmission combo to the drive shaft of a Whitby 42 (#144).

Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience with either this UK product, or a comparable US-made flexible coupling that would be suitable for the job.

I have a semi-flexible coupling called "Drive Saver" which looks like nylon. It's worked well over the past few years. If interested, I can get the supplier for you.

I used the Vetus Bullflex coupling on my last boat and was very happy with it. Not cheap however, the $/Euro exchange rate does not help.
